Major new archaeological discoveries

The PAGE Campaign is delighted to announce the discovery of two new major archaeological finds in the Warborough and Dorchester areas.   

Funded by the generosity of local residents, the evidence-based approach to our campaign has resulted in the discovery of two new settlements, both thought to be of Roman origin.

There will be two public meetings to present these discoveries to residents:

Sunday 20th June, 7pm - The Greet Hall, Warborough

Wednesday 14th July, 7pm - Village Hall, Dorchester

Consultation documents from Oxfordshire County Council

In February and March 2010, Oxfordshire County Council conducted a series of consultation meetings with stakeholders involved in the minerals spatial options.  All the Parish Councils in the PAGE alliance, and PAGE itself, attended these meetings and put forward our views.

The County Council has published the results of these meetings.  The documents can be downloaded from the County Council website.   

OCC have decided to conduct a further series of consultation workshops in July with stakeholders.  PAGE and the Parish Councils will be attending these meetings on behalf of residents.
